Vanuatu United Football Club will play its first official preparation match this weekend in Port Vila.

This will be the first national friendly match for a professional club from Vanuatu.

The team, coached by Lars Hopp and Richard Iwai, will face a PVFA squad coached by David Chilia on Saturday.

Players named in the squad will attend a training session at the Municipal Stadium at exactly 4:00pm this afternoon.

The national friendly match will kick off at 3:00pm at the VFF Freshwota Stadium. The game forms part of Vanuatu United FC’s preparations for the OFC Pro League, where the club will make its first appearance in the regional professional competition.
