Vanuatu, one of the recognised football nations in the Pacific, will not host any Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) competitions next year.
This follows confirmation from the Oceania Football Confederation, which shows that Vanuatu is not listed as a host for any OFC tournaments.
Reports indicate that there will be 15 OFC competitions scheduled next year, and Vanuatu has missed out on hosting all of them.
One of the main reasons Vanuatu was not selected to host any OFC tournaments is that local stadiums do not currently meet FIFA standards.
Following this announcement, Vanuatu will again miss the opportunity to host OFC tournaments in the coming year.
