Quarterfinals Underway for Vanuatu Made Shield This Weekend

Four quarterfinal matches of the Vanuatu Made Shield tournament are set to take place this weekend at Port Vila Municipal Stadium and VFF Freshwater Stadium.

The quarterfinals follow last week’s pool matches at the same venues, which confirmed the clubs advancing to this stage of the competition.

According to information from Port Vila Football League, two quarterfinal matches will be held at the Municipal Stadium and two at VFF Freshwater Stadium.

  • Municipal Stadium:
    • 12:00 PM – iCount Yatel FC vs Tupuji Imere FC
    • 2:00 PM – Tafea FC vs Mauriki FC
  • VFF Freshwater Stadium:
    • 12:00 PM – Galaxy FC vs Penama FC
    • 3:00 PM – Erakor Golden Star FC vs Ifira Black Bird FC

The winners of these matches will advance to the semifinals of the Vanuatu Made Shield, scheduled for next weekend.

Port Vila Football League has encouraged all football supporters to attend and cheer for young Vanuatu talent while promoting sportsmanship.

The Vanuatu Made Shield is supported by the Government through the Department of Industry and aims to promote local food, handicrafts, value-added products, and youth development through sports.
