Members of the Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) are set to benefit from a 2.5% annual interest rate, credited to their accounts as of 22 September 2025.

This interest rate applies to the 2024 financial year and marks an increase from the 2% annual interest paid for 2023.

The declaration was made by Minister of Finance, Hon. Johnny Koanapo, who oversees VNPF operations.

• Hon. Koanapo: “Based on the 2024 financial audit, it is my great honor to declare a 2.5% interest rate, which will be credited to members’ accounts.”

The total payout of VT583 million has already been distributed to VNPF members’ accounts.
