The Vanuatu Under-19 women’s football team has officially arrived in Tahiti to compete in the OFC Women’s Under-19 Championship, the Tahitian Football Federation confirmed this week.
The team touched down at Faa’a International Airport earlier this week, marking the start of their campaign in the regional tournament.
Vanuatu will play its first official match on 22 September against New Caledonia, followed by a game against host nation Tahiti on 25 September. The team will conclude the group stage with a match against New Zealand on 28 September.
Competing in Group B, all of Vanuatu’s matches will take place at the Paea Stadium.
