Vanuatu United Football Club has continued its training sessions despite the holiday period, holding workouts last Sunday and again on Monday morning as part of preparations for next month’s major international fixture.
The ongoing sessions come as the club builds momentum ahead of a busy January schedule, with coaching staff focused on ensuring players maintain fitness and match readiness before the new year.
Although the country is currently in holiday mode, Vanuatu United FC’s two coaches have kept training light but consistent, organizing “soft training” sessions aimed at keeping players sharp and physically prepared.
The club is set to make its OFC professional debut on 17 January 2026, when it faces Bula FC of Fiji in its first official OFC professional league match.
Vanuatu United FC is expected to travel overseas in mid-January, heading to New Zealand where the team will complete final preparations before kicking off its OFC professional league campaign.
