As the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau approaches its conclusion this Wednesday, today—Monday 7 July—marks the second-last day of competition, with Vanuatu’s judo team set to take the stage.
Prisiccillia Monthouel will represent Vanuatu in the women’s 60kg round-robin category, competing against athletes from the Northern Mariana Islands and Kiribati in Pool B.
In the men’s 66kg division, Valia Knox is scheduled to compete in Pool B against Northern Mariana, while Samuel Ian will take part in the 73kg division under Pool C.
Also in action today is Anna Bumseng, who will compete in a round-robin event against athletes from Tahiti and Kiribati.
Kaina Delrieu will face Kiribati in her pool, while Veronica Tari—Vanuatu’s flag bearer—will compete in Round Robin A against Guam and Kiribati.
With medals on the line and national pride at stake, today promises to be an action-packed day for Team Vanuatu Judo.
