Police Football Club and Wuden Football Club will meet in the Grand Final of the MPs Cup this Friday in Lakatoro, Malampa Province.
The Grand Final marks a historic moment for Malampa Province as it brings together all elected Members of Parliament from the province’s 14th legislature to celebrate and support the local football tournament.
The MPs Cup kicked off last month, and the semi-final matches were completed earlier this week at Wilkins Stadium in Lakatoro.
According to reports received by VBTC Sports, Police FC and Wuden FC qualified for the final after strong performances in their semi-final matches.
In the first semi-final, Police FC defeated ASPVB FC with a 3–2 victory, while in the second match, Wuden FC overcame Central Conquerors FC with a 3–1 win.
The Grand Final will kick off at 2 p.m. this Friday, coinciding with Malampa Day celebrations.
Before the final, there will be a third-place playoff between ASPVB FC and Central Conquerors FC at 12 p.m.
