Voter turnout in the constituencies of Santo and Freshwater Tasiriki Ward was lower than in other provinces during the 8 July elections.
Freshwater Tasiriki Ward recorded a 40% turnout, which is an increase from the 29% turnout in the 2022 election.
Meanwhile, the Santo by-election turnout was 43%, a decrease from the 49% turnout in the 2024 constituency election.
In contrast, voter turnout in the provinces of Penama, Malampa, and Tafea exceeded 60%, while Shefa recorded 55%.
Overall, the turnout for the four provincial elections reached 61%, showing an improvement from the 46% turnout during the 2021 provincial elections across Penama, Malampa, Shefa, and Tafea.
