Classic Football Club and Malampa Revivors Football Club will play the first semifinal of the Luganville Football Association opening knockout this weekend.
The match will take place at 1pm at Soccer City Stadium.
Although many sports across the country have already ended their seasons for the year, the Luganville Football Association will continue this weekend with two important semifinals of its opening knockout.
The opening knockout serves as preparation for the top clubs within the LFA as they get ready for the championship season, which will begin early next year.
VBTC Sports spoke with Kevu John this morning, and he explained more about the two semifinal matches that will take place this weekend at Soccer City Stadium.
One of the key matches that football supporters in the North must not miss is the Classic FC vs. Malampa Revivors FC semifinal, kicking off at 1pm.
Kewu John, the LFA competition coordinator, said the football opening knockout is the final competition organized by Luganville Football this year before all LFA clubs go on their Christmas holiday break.
The LFA competition coordinator, Mr. Kevu, is calling on all football supporters in Luganville to turn out in numbers this weekend to show their support for the four clubs playing in the two important semifinals.
