The President of the Republic, His Excellency Nikenike Vurobaravu, will visit three provinces this year, starting with Penama Province today.

His tour of Penama coincides with the 77th Anniversary celebrations of the Apostolic Church, where he has been invited as the guest of honour at the main program scheduled for Sunday, 22 June.

Ahead of the church program, the Head of State will visit the Penama Provincial Headquarters on Wednesday and Ambaebulu Junior Secondary School, where he is expected to speak on his Presidential Community Engagement and Advocacy Program.

President Vurobaravu will also travel to the islands of Maewo and Pentecost.
While on Pentecost, he will visit the grave of the Father of Independence, the late Father Walter Lini.

Following his engagements in Penama, the President will continue to Sanma Province to pay his respects at the grave of former Prime Minister Serge Vohor before returning to Port Vila.

President Vurobaravu is also scheduled to visit Torba and Tafea Provinces in August and October this year.
