A low-pressure system currently located to the north, outside the Vanuatu area, will continue moving south and enter Vanuatu’s area this weekend.
Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-hazards Department says it will continue moving southeast and remain to the east of Vanuatu from Sunday until Wednesday next week.
There will be rain and possible thunderstorms over TORBA later today and tomorrow, and the rain will reach PENAMA, SANMA, MALAMPA, SHEFA and TAFEA Provinces on Monday or Tuesday next week.
The chance of this system developing into a Tropical Cyclone remains LOW.
If there are any changes to the system, the Meteorology Office will issue an advisory.
