Vanuatu’s golden beach volleyball team, Sherysyn Toko and Majabelle Lawac, have claimed their first win in Taiwan.

The win comes as part of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Beach Tour Pingtung Open, which kicked off today.

Toko and Lawac defeated Hong Kong in straight sets, 2–0, in their opening match at 11:30am.

The match marks their first game in the tournament.

Vanuatu’s second match will be played tomorrow against Singapore.
