The Torba Mini Vanuatu Made Tradeshow is being hosted for the second time in Torba Province, with Motalava as the venue for the two-day event.

The event brings together local producers to showcase their products under the “Torba Made” initiative.

The opening ceremony saw the presence of Hon. John Joseph, MP for the Torres constituency; Lazarus Aising, Acting Director of the Department of Industry; Alick Berry, Executive Officer of the Ministry of Trade and Commerce; along with other government line department officials and representatives from NGOs.

In his speech, MP John Joseph encouraged local producers to remain resilient and continue producing more local products, reinforcing the Torba Made initiative.
