An additional Brisbane–Santo flight is expected to begin in the second quarter of next year.
Chief Executive Officer of the Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO), Adela Aru, told VBTC News this morning that the announcement is expected in January.
“Two destinations include Luganville, which currently has one flight a week operated by Solomon Airlines. This covers the Brisbane–Santo route, and we are preparing to announce in January 2026 that there will be a second flight with Solomon Airlines, which is now under discussion and expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026 on the Brisbane–Santo route.”
