More than 50 government workers have arrived in Tanna as part of the upcoming Public Service Week, which begins at the end of July.
This was confirmed by Chief Executive Officer of the Malvatumauri Council of Chiefs, Chief Jean Pierre Tom, in a statement to VBTC News.
Chief Tom said approximately 26 government trucks traveled down on the Vanuatu ferry, carrying a large number of civil servants along with advance teams from the Office of the Excellency and other Public Service Commission officials.
This morning, the RVS Sokomanu was seen heading to Tanna carrying equipment for the Public Service Commission, along with several other government trucks.
