International Youth Day celebrations ended with the introduction of new sports in Port Vila

It was exciting to see many young people from different areas come together to take part in the event. International Youth Day is celebrated every year on August 12 and was also marked in other provinces.

VBTC Sport was there to witness the finals in volleyball and futsal, as well as the introduction of chess and hockey.

VBTC Sport spoke with the hockey and chess federations, who said they came to showcase these sports to young people and encourage their participation.
