Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu has renewed its contract with Vanuatu Cricket Association to further develop cricket in Vanuatu. The signing took place yesterday at the Holiday Inn Resort between the hotel’s General Manager and the CEO of VCA.
The new two-year contract builds on a successful nine-year sponsorship relationship, continuing Holiday Inn’s support for the sport. CEO of Vanuatu Cricket Association, Tim Cuttler, expressed gratitude for the ongoing commitment:
“Thank you for the continual support from Holiday Inn and this two-year contract is a continuation of that support for Vanuatu Cricket.”
Holiday Inn’s General Manager, Rashmi Tulsiani, said the partnership is not only about sport but also about community engagement:
“Very excited to be part of your program. For us, the community is important, and we believe sports can engage the younger generation. We are happy to support wherever we can.”
The signing ceremony was also attended by national team captains, Rachel Andrew for the women’s team and Joshua Rasu for the men’s team. The under 19 women’s cricket team is currently preparing for the East Asia-Pacific World Cup qualifiers in Papua New Guinea.
The renewed partnership is expected to continue strengthening cricket development programs, providing opportunities for both men and women cricketers, and promoting sports as a key part of community and youth engagement in Vanuatu.
