Vanuatu Hockey Federation has restarted its league competition this week, beginning with matches for both children and senior players.
Frank Vira, Vanuatu Hockey Federation Coordinator based at Wan Smol Bag, told VBTC News that the league has resumed across different age groups.
“Our programs are down at Wan Smol Bag. The training sessions are ongoing — kids train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4–5PM for Under-13 and Under-18. From 5–7PM we have senior training for players aged 18 and up. The league has started, so we now have matches for Under-13 and seniors,” said Vira.
He also mentioned that the Independence Hockey Knockout tournament will kick off next month to mark Vanuatu’s 45th Independence Anniversary.
