The Chairman of the Vanuatu Tourism Office Board, Gideon George, is asking the government to bring back stringband music at Port Vila International Airport.
He says having local music playing when people arrive or leave the country will make them feel more welcome and remember Vanuatu’s culture.
Mr. George spoke during the launch of the new LUKIM YU WALL at the airport.
He also said the government should give more support to the tourism industry because it helps grow the country.
