As part of Vanuatu’s 45th Independence Anniversary celebrations, the Foshan Cultural and Artistic Group from Guangdong Province, China, will deliver a special cultural performance this Tuesday afternoon at Saralana Park in Port Vila.

The group was originally scheduled to perform during the Opening Ceremony of the National Arts and Cultural Festival in Tanna. However, due to a flight cancellation, the performance was unable to proceed. Organizers expressed deep disappointment after the delegation was not included in the passenger lists of three alternative flights arranged by Air Vanuatu.

In response, the group has rescheduled its showcase to take place in the capital.

The Port Vila public is now invited to enjoy a dazzling lineup of free performances, including Chinese acrobatics, traditional dance, magic shows, and kung fu demonstrations.

The event will be held at Saralana Park on Tuesday, 5th August, beginning at 4:00pm, with the final start time to be confirmed.

Organizers are encouraging all members of the public to attend and celebrate this vibrant cultural exchange as part of Vanuatu’s national independence festivities.
