Two Australian experts have arrived in South Epi and are contacting an internal assessment to determine Takuares condition.

While extracting fuel from the stranded vessel, a likely option to lighten the ship for further work, Ocean Logistics Operation Manager, Freddy Tagaro informed it would require very calm weather to execute such operation.

He added that if the occasion arrives where fuel extraction is required, the service of a badge will be required and the will have to source one of theirs from Port Vila.
