Vanuatu Teachers Holdings Limited (VTHL) has acquired the Coral Motel.

The strategic partnership with the business arm of the Vanuatu Teachers Union
(VTU) aims to provide essential financial support to union members during
challenging times, ensuring their well-being and stability.

“We’re turning on more taps”

VTHL chairman Anderson Homu highlighted the importance of creating a separate
business entity that can generate profits for union members.

Mr.Homu said, “We only have one tap that’s on at the moment. When we operate
other businesses, we’re turning on more taps that can assist the organisation.”

Mr. Homu said that the profits earned will assist the VTU members until they are no
longer a part of the union.

VTHL is already engaged in various ventures, including land subdivisions, and has
plans to expand into stationery and credit union services. These initiatives are
designed to diversify revenue streams, allowing the organisation to better support its
members.
