The Utilities Regulatory Authority (URA) has officially launched a customer survey targeting electricity users served by Vanuatu Utilities and Infrastructure Limited (VUI Ltd), aimed at gathering feedback on service quality, billing, affordability, and reliability.

The survey seeks to better understand customer experiences and identify areas where VUI Ltd’s electricity services can be improved.

“Customer feedback is critical for improving electricity services and ensuring accountability,” said James Temakon, URA’s Financial Analyst. “Through this survey, we aim to amplify the voices of electricity users and highlight where services can be strengthened.”

The survey will be conducted mainly online, allowing users to respond using mobile phones, tablets, or computers. A limited number of in-person interviews will also be conducted in selected communities with limited internet access to ensure broad participation.

During ICT Week in Luganville, Santo (Tuesday 13th May to Friday 16th May 2025), Mr. Temakon will be available at the URA booth to assist VUI customers with completing the survey. Members of the public are encouraged to visit the booth or contact URA’s North Branch Office on the first floor of the VNPF building for assistance.

The survey will be accessible from Tuesday 13 May until Wednesday 12 June 2025. The survey link will be shared through URA’s official Facebook page, website, SMS, and email platforms.
