Jetstar is set to enhance connectivity between Vanuatu and Australia with direct flights starting December 12.

The Civil Aviation Authority recently approved Jetstar’s Foreign Air Operator Certificate, allowing regular international flights to and from Vanuatu.

Wilfred Makaba, Acting Director of the Civil Aviation Authority said, “Last month, we issued their FAOC, enabling them to operate in Vanuatu. Just last week, we signed their monthly flight schedule approval, setting the stage for their inaugural flight on December 12. They’ll operate a direct route between Sydney and Port Vila, offering a new connection for international travelers”.
