The Government has just one days left before its 100-Day Plan officially ends on Wednesday, 11 June 2025.
According to the Government’s Monitoring Dashboard, 66% of the planned actions have been achieved—showing what the government describes as significant progress, with more than half of its key initiatives completed.

However, Leader of Opposition, Ishmael Kalsakau is questioning the government’s claim, saying there is no real evidence on the ground to support the 66% figure.
Speaking at a press conference today, Opposition Leader said that if the government has truly achieved more than 60% of its goals, the public should be seeing clear improvements—such as businesses operating normally in the CBD and teachers fully back in classrooms.
“If the government says it has achieved 66% of its plan, then show us the results. Are the businesses back? Are the teachers in classrooms? The public is still waiting to see real change,” Kalsakau said.
They are also calling for more transparency on how the numbers were calculated and what was counted as “achieved.”
Meanwhile, VBTC News observed today that some businesses in town have reopened, and understands that the government has announced the creation of a committee to work toward a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with teachers.
