Police are investigating an incident after a man lost his life in a slasher accident at a plantation in Lakatoro.

The accident occurred Monday October 28th at the Plantations Réunies de Vanuatu (PRV Plantation) after a slasher accidently cut the man’s leg.

Police in Lakatoro responded to the accident scene and are now investigating the case.

The police are also advising the family members of the man, from Mae Village, to allow investigators to handle the case and not take the law into their own hands.
