Vanuatu’s Northern and parts of central islands will get showers of rain today while cloudy condition with possible light showers expected elsewhere.

The Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-Harzards Department says light, moderate to fresh southeast winds are expected throughout the group.

The Duty Weather Forecaster says maximum temperatures for today range from 26°C down south to 28°C up north. Minimum temperatures for tonight range from 18°C down south to 25°C up north.

He says southeast winds of 21 to 30 knots with rough seas from 2.5 to 3.0 meters is expected over Southern, Channel & parts of Central waters while southeast winds of 11 to 15 knots with light to moderate seas from 1.0 to 1.5 meters elsewhere.
