Vanuatu’s Northern and Central islands will experience showers while cloudy condition with light showers of rain expected elsewhere.

The Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-Hazards Department says light, moderate to fresh east and southeast winds are expected over central and southern islands while light to moderate easterly and north easterly winds elsewhere.

The Duty Weather Forecaster from the Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-Harzards Deaptment, Franky Peter says maximum temperatures for today will range from 26 degrees Celsius down south to 28 degrees Celsius up north. Minimum temperatures for tonight will range from 17 degrees Celsius down south to 25 degrees Celsius up north.

Mr Peter says for ocean waters, east and southeast winds of 21 to 25 knots will blow with rough seas to 2.5 meters expected over Channel, Southern and parts of Central waters while east and northeast winds of 11 to 15 knots with light to moderate seas elsewhere.
