Vanuatu’s northern islands will experience showers today while elsewhere partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of light showers.

The Vanuatu Meteoroglogy and Geo-Harzards Department says light, moderate to fresh South easterly and South South easterly winds is expected throughout the group.

The Duty Weather Forecaster, Franky Peter says todays maximum temperatures will range from 28 degrees Celsius down south to 31 degrees Celsius up north. Minimum temperatures for tonight will range from 19 degrees Celsius down south to 25 degrees Celsius up north.

Mr Peter says for ocean waters; winds of 21 to 30 knots will blow from South to Southeast direction with rough to very rough seas from 2.5 to 3.0 meters expected over all coastal waters of Vanuatu.
