Vanuatu Athletics Federation has received support from TAL and Estelle Milfirer to import special athletics equipment directly from China, valued at VT300,000.

The donation was officially handed over to the federation last week, together with children who have already started their training program in the first week of this month at Korman Stadium.

The sponsorship includes equipment that young athletes can use, helping to build their confidence to compete, develop skills, and safely participate across different age categories.

In a statement, the federation said the equipment arrived at an important time, as coaches are working hard to build a strong foundation for future generations of athletes.

TAL and Estelle Milfirer, who own business interests in Vanuatu, have provided support to Athletics Vanuatu this year.

With the new equipment, track and field events are expected to benefit and improve.
