Police are still waiting for the result of the autopsy on the death of a man in Santo.
Police under the Northern Command are continuing to investigate the death of a man whose age is around 39 years, while they wait for an autopsy that will happen at the end of this month.
They found the man early morning on the 2nd of this month in his village at Bene, East Santo. They found his body on the main road, and there is no direct witness who saw what happened to him.
Some members of the community have different opinions on what caused his death. Some think it is a hit-and-run, and some believe someone killed him.
But Police in the Northern Command told VBTC News that now it is over 15 days already that the body is still in the mortuary, waiting for a doctor to come and do the autopsy to find out exactly what caused his death.
Police say they are continuing to collect information and conduct the investigation while waiting for the autopsy result.
