More than 400 members of the Vanuatu Police Force will receive a risk allowance in recognition of their frontline service during the 2024 earthquake.
A cheque totalling VT 109.3 million was presented this morning by Hon. Andrew Napuat, Minister of Internal Affairs, to Kalshem Bongran Commissioner of Police and John Taleo, Chairman of the Police Service Commission.
The risk allowance is intended to recognise the dedication and service of police personnel who worked on the front line during the emergency response to the 2024 earthquake.
More to come.
