Soweto Gospel Choir Stands in Solidarity with Vanuatu, Offering Music as Healing After Earthquake

In the aftermath of the recent earthquake that shook Vanuatu, the Soweto Gospel Choir has extended its solidarity to the nation, offering music as a source of comfort and healing.

Choir master, singer, and manager Shimmy Jiyane expressed the group’s heartfelt support, emphasizing that the choir is praying for strength and resilience for all those affected.

“Through our music, we hope to lift your spirits, bring solace, and remind you that you are not alone,” Jiyane said.

As part of their mission to inspire hope, the Grammy-winning ensemble will perform three special concerts on April 1, 3, and 5, delivering their renowned gospel harmonies to audiences in need of upliftment.

Tickets remain available at Au Bon Marche outlets in Manples, Freswota, Korman, and Nambatu, as well as at the VBTC premises.

With a message of unity and strength, the Soweto Gospel Choir invites the people of Vanuatu to come together through the power of song in this time of recovery.
