The stage is set for a thrilling weekend of football as Mauriki FC, Naka FC, Ifira Black Bird FC, and Galaxy FC face off in the semi-finals of the 2025 PVFA Cup.
The semi-final line-up was confirmed following last week’s intense quarter-final clashes at the Port Vila Municipal Stadium. In one of the standout matches, Ifira Black Bird FC, current Vanuatu champions, edged out Tafea FC 3-1 in extra time after a 1-1 draw at the end of 90 minutes.
Galaxy FC, the reigning PVFA champions, also booked their place after an action-packed match against United Malampa FC. The teams were tied 3-3 in regular time, but Galaxy secured the win 4-3 in extra time.
This weekend’s semi-finals kick off on Saturday, with Naka FC taking on Mauriki FC at 12:30 PM, followed by the heavyweight clash between Ifira Black Bird FC and Galaxy FC at 2:30 PM.
Winners of these matches will progress to the Grand Final of the 2025 PVFA Cup.
