Over 100 children participated in the annual VFF Legacy program at the VFF Fresh Water Stadium during the last weekend, marking a key event in VFF’s nationwide initiative. The program targets children between 16 and 19 years old while also welcoming participants as young as 12.
The Legacy program, held in every state, serves as an educational initiative that trains children both on and off the field. VFF coaches currently facilitate the sessions, which run weekly from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning, allowing children to play football and learn from their peers.
In addition, the VFF 2025 School Program involves students from all schools participating in the school development initiative. Schools such as Malasitapu, Anamburou, Bevely Hill, and Fresh Water are among those taking part. This program not only showcases potential players across various age categories but also organizes selections for future football competitions based on these age groups.
Both programs conclude at the end of the month, demonstrating the widespread passion for football among the children.
