TAC FC and ASM FC from the Melsisi area on Pentecost Island have received their clearance to travel to Ambae for the upcoming Penama Football Association Men’s Champions League.
The two clubs, along with their team officials, underwent malaria testing yesterday afternoon at Lolowai. The tests were conducted by Public Health Manager Markson Tabi and his team as part of health safety measures.
This follows a recent rise in malaria cases in the Penama Province. The Men’s Champions League is scheduled to kick off next week in Saratamata on Ambae Island.
