For Teacher Assistant Martha Frank from Port Vila International School, bringing students to USP Open Day is about helping them see what could come next.

Martha said the visit gives students an opportunity to explore the university’s different departments and learn about the study pathways available to them.

She believes this exposure can help students have a clearer picture of which subjects they may want to pursue as they progress through school , and how those choices could connect to their future careers.

For Martha, USP Open Day is not only for students already planning to attend university.

She said the event is a special opportunity for school leavers and young people at home to come out, explore different pathways and learn about the options available to them, including vocational education.
