The Recovery Operation Committee (ROC) and the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) have addressed concerns regarding the distribution of Chinese aid relief.
The aid, consisting of essential supplies, was delivered under strict timelines, with logistical support provided by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC). This ensured swift and efficient distribution to designated clusters, including Health, WASH, Food Security, Shelter, and Energy.
All aid was allocated transparently in line with national protocols, with real-time monitoring of goods via the Disaster Management Office’s social media page.
The Government categorically rejects claims circulating online about the Prime Minister’s involvement in using the aid for political purposes. Such misinformation disrupts recovery efforts and creates unnecessary confusion.
The public is urged to verify information through official channels and refrain from spreading false claims.
