Citizenship Agents Meet with Board to Discuss CIIP Regulations Ahead of Program Relaunch

Agents of Vanuatu’s Citizenship Program are meeting today with the Citizenship Commission to review and discuss new regulations and procedures before the Capital Investment Immigration Program (CIIP) officially resumes operations.

The meeting brings together agents currently suspended under the CIIP as well as those operating under the Development Support Program (DSP). According to Citizenship Commission Chairman, Charles Maniel, the session aims to ensure all agents are fully informed about the updated CIIP framework.

“The Honorable Prime Minister has requested that the Citizenship Office brief all agents on the new CIIP regulations on the 15 April 2025, to highlight areas that need improvement, and also explain the updated procedures and operational standards,” Maniel told VBTC News.

He emphasized that the Citizenship Commission remains committed to upholding transparency and accountability in Vanuatu’s citizenship sale programs, while also contributing to government revenue.

Currently there are over 20 agents operating under the CIIP.

The country’s citizenship program is offered through both the CIIP and DSP initiatives.
