Vanuatu is preparing to showcase its culture, music, sport and business opportunities on the international stage at Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade, Serbia, from May 15 to August 15, 2027.

Following the country’s participation in Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, the upcoming expo will provide another opportunity to promote Vanuatu internationally, attract potential investors, develop trade partnerships and raise awareness of the country as a tourism destination.

Under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” Expo 2027 will explore how sport, music and play can bring people together, encourage creativity, strengthen communities and promote inclusion.

Vanuatu’s participation is expected to highlight the country’s rich cultural identity, from traditional rhythms to contemporary island music, alongside the achievements and inspiring stories of its athletes.

The national pavilion will also provide an opportunity to showcase local talent, celebrate Vanuatu’s sporting spirit and demonstrate how music and sport can empower young people and connect communities across generations.

Beyond culture and sport, Vanuatu’s participation will support national objectives in tourism, trade and investment, with a focus on promoting locally made products and connecting domestic businesses with international markets.
