Parliament will consider 28 Bills during its upcoming Extraordinary Session, scheduled from 19 to 30 October 2026.

With 12 days remaining before the session begins, Parliament has so far received the completed versions of 16 of the 28 Bills.

This will be Parliament’s first Extraordinary Session of 2026, called by Speaker Stephen Felix following a request from Prime Minister Jotham Napat.

The session will focus on several proposed changes put forward by the Government.

As part of normal practice, the full list of Bills is expected to be published on the Parliament of Vanuatu website before the session begins, allowing the public to access the documents.
