Vanuatu Women’s Cricket Team lost their second match this week against Italy, despite a strong performance.
Vanuatu posted a solid total of 114 runs for 6 wickets, setting a competitive target. Italy successfully chased the score, reaching 115 runs with three balls remaining to win by four wickets.
Nasi-mana Navaika led the batting with 36 runs, supported by Valenta Langiatu and Rachel Andrew, helping the team reach a strong total.
In their first match, host nation Rwanda defeated Vanuatu by 41 runs.
Vanuatu still has two remaining matches against Nepal and the USA.
