Erakor Bilingual School on Efate celebrated Francophonie Day under the theme “Women Empowerment.”

Vanuatu Broadcasting Television Corporation (VBTC) had the opportunity to take part in the celebration and speak about the role of women in the media.

From Kindergarten to Year 10, students gathered to listen about the role of women at home, in the workplace, and in the church.

They also learned the importance of knowing Vanuatu’s three national languages—French, English, and Bislama.

Students also presented poems reflecting on women role models who are special to them.
