Two Mauriki Football Club players are currently in Fiji to continue their football careers abroad, leaving their home village in Mele, Port Vila.

Mila Loloa and Gerard Avock departed this week to join Labasa Football Club for the upcoming football season.

VBTC Sports spoke with Pastor Frank King, coach and leader of Mauriki FC, who said the move is part of the players’ dedication to advancing their football careers.

Mr. Loloa and Avock have been the backbone of Mauriki FC over the last two seasons, helping raise the club’s profile in the Port Vila Football Association.
