Vanuatu’s national men’s and women’s teams left the country early yesterday morning to travel to Papua New Guinea for the 2025 MSP Prime Minister’s Cup tournament.

This is one of the major tournaments that brings together all Melanesian countries to compete in the spirit of good sportsmanship shared among the nations.

Five Melanesian countries will take part, each represented by both men’s and women’s teams.

The Vanuatu teams received a warm welcome at the airport upon arrival, where Vanuatu students studying in PNG greeted and cheered for them.
