The Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) has officially announced the extension of its partnership with Interchange Limited (ICL) through to the end of 2026, marking another milestone in their long-standing collaboration to develop cricket in the country.
ICL General Manager Niall Downey commended the partnership’s impact on both the sport and the wider community, saying:
“The Interchange Vanuatu Cricket Academy is helping young players realise their potential, while Women’s Island Cricket continues to create opportunities for women to come together, stay active, and build confidence through participation.”
VCA Chief Executive Officer Tim Cutler expressed gratitude for Interchange’s continued support, noting that the partnership has been vital in advancing cricket development across Vanuatu.
“With this extension, we can further expand the Academy’s reach and ensure that the next generation of players, especially young women, have the tools, coaching, and opportunities to excel,” Cutler said.
Under the renewed agreement signed last week, Interchange Limited remains Vanuatu Cricket’s Platinum Sponsor, continuing its backing for flagship programs such as the Interchange Vanuatu Cricket Academy and Women’s Island Cricket initiative.
The partnership will also enhance investment in Vanuatu’s national women’s team — the country’s highest-ranked sporting side — as they continue to represent the nation proudly on the global stage through 2026.
