Vanuatu Judo Federation will welcome a special guest next week , Sarah Asahina, a three-time world champion from Japan.

Asahina, who holds three world titles in the over 78kg category, is one of Japan’s most accomplished judokas.

Her visit will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for local judokas to meet and learn from one of the world’s best athletes in the sport.

While in Port Vila, Asahina will visit the Vanuatu Judo Federation’s training site at Natangura Dojo in Pango, where she will meet young athletes and share her experience.

This visit is expected to inspire the next generation of Vanuatu’s judokas and strengthen ties between the Vanuatu Judo Federation and the Japan Judo community.
