The Office of the Prime Minister has today dismissed as misleading and incorrect recent claims by the South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) that Air Vanuatu is set to resume international flights soon.

SPTO had published an article suggesting that international flights would resume shortly, following Prime Minister Jotham Napat’s recent visit to France.

However, the PM’s Office clarified that the purpose of the Prime Minister’s trip to France was to revive discussions with the French government and Airbus, and not to confirm any immediate restart of Air Vanuatu’s international operations.
