The Supreme Court has scheduled the case of Member of Parliament from Ambae, Jay Nwgele, for hearing on 23 July.
This morning, Justice Josaia Nai-gu-levu held a session to determine whether the case should remain in the Supreme Court or be transferred to the Magistrate’s Court.
MP Nwgele faces two charges under the Ombudsman Act. During today’s hearing, one charge was amended to multiple counts under the Leadership Code.
